On May 20, Julia Martínez Ramírez, PhD student in the Piezo4Spine project, took part in the Pint of Science Festival in Madrid. At the Mercado de San Leopoldo, she shared her work on how iron-based nanomaterials can support the regeneration of the spinal cord — one of the core challenges addressed by our project.
As part of the new science outreach initiative “Pinta a bulo”, Julia also helped combat misinformation by explaining the real science behind her research.
