4th Annual Piezo4Spine Partner Meeting in Brussels

Our 4th Annual Partner Meeting took us to Brussels this year — and what a great few days it was!

A huge thank you to Anne de Rieux and Paloma Lozano from UC Louvain for their wonderful hospitality and perfect organisation. You really made us feel at home and created the ideal setting for inspiring discussions and a smooth meeting.

During the two and a half days, we had many fruitful and open exchanges, shaping our plans for the final year of the project. The whole team is full of energy and motivation to bring our shared goal closer — developing a new therapy for spinal cord injuries.

Of course, it wasn’t all science! We also got to explore Brussels in a very different way — through the “Brussels by Puzzles” urban adventure by Enygma Brussels. It’s a mix between a riddle and an escape room that takes you through the city centre, solving clues and discovering hidden corners of Brussels. It was such a fun and creative way to see the city together!

Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely dinner — good food, great company, and lots of laughter.

It was so nice to see everyone again and spend time together, both in and outside the meeting room. Thanks to everyone for your input, your ideas, and your energy. We’re already looking forward to next year — when we’ll meet again for our final Piezo4Spine Partner Meeting!

So stay tuned if you want to learn more about #piezo4spine and follow us on social media.
